Overview
Jing is a free software download that allows you to narrate still images OR a captured video whatever is on your screen. You can save these files to your computer or upload to www.screencast.com in order to embed the video in your wiki.
Remember that video with my instructions on how to embed your Voice Thread? I used Jing! This software is great for presentations or demos. You could also use Jing for leaving sub assignments. If you are really high tech, you can edit your videos with another free software download, Camstudio, from the same company that created Jing and screencast.com.
Keep in Mind...
There is a 5 minute limit on video narration, so you might want to break longer presentations up in to pieces.
Make sure the “mute” button is off when you begin your recording (I made that mistake twice).

- Download and install the software on you computer
